Here are two more pictures of my process on The Bouquet River Banks!

I continue to block in color and shape, building from the back to the front.

In this stage I just keep building layers with color and shape but also sculpting the rocks with brush strokes. I am starting to do some detailing.

Work in progress!!

This piece is along the banks of the Bouquet River in upstate NY in Essex county! It is a place I visit every year because of my love of large boulder rocks! The water is crystal clear and its very peaceful!

I will post my process! It's a 24 x 36 size!

This is the first painting for 2016, it is almost done.

It is from a picture I took on Labor day 2015. It had just finished raining and was very foggy in the mountain range. I will be calling it, "Labor Day Boat Ride." Look for the finished work soon!
